// 01 — THINKWEB

Think AI, mobile and engineering. Think Web.

We design, build and ship web, mobile and AI products — and own them end to end. From architecture to production, with the senior engineering and product leadership most teams only get after they've already built the wrong thing. Rotterdam, NL.

// 02 — WEB & MOBILE

Web & mobile products — built whole

We design and build web and mobile applications end to end. The interface people touch and the backend that makes it work — APIs, data, payments, authentication — are one system, built by one team. No “that's a backend problem,” no integration surprises late.

01

Web applications

Production web apps across the full stack, from data layer to a fast, responsive interface.

02

Mobile apps

Native and cross-platform iOS & Android, built for performance and long-term maintainability.

03

E-commerce & checkout

High-converting storefronts with custom checkout, product management and payments.

04

Backend, APIs & data

The engine: well-documented APIs, sound data models, auth and integrations that hold up.

// 03 — ARCHITECTURE

Architecture that holds under load

Most products don't fail because someone built the wrong button. They fail because the foundation couldn't carry the weight — traffic, data, cost, or an audit. We design systems for scale, reliability and security from day one, so growth is a good problem instead of an outage.

01

Cloud infrastructure & DevOps

AWS/GCP environments, containers, CI/CD and infrastructure as code for reproducible, low-drama deploys.

02

Systems & API design

Robust, documented APIs and distributed systems that scale predictably.

03

Databases & data modelling

Schema design and query optimisation built for integrity and performance.

04

Performance, CDN & observability

Profiling, CDN strategy, logging, tracing and alerting so teams can see and fix what's happening in production.

05

Security & compliance

Secure-by-default engineering and compliance work across GDPR, SOC 2 and friends.

// 04 — AI

AI that does the work, not the demo

We build AI into products that actually ship, two ways. We create and deploy autonomous agents that take an objective and carry it out across your tools and data — not just chat. And we build AI into the way software gets made, so your team prompts better, ships faster, and does less by hand. Cloud-hosted, or fully local when data can't leave the building.

01

Agentic AI development

Designing, building and deploying autonomous agents that act across systems and data to complete real tasks end to end.

02

AI-assisted development

Internal tools and workflows that make teams faster: better prompting, more reliable outputs, less manual work.

03

AI-powered product features

Intelligent search, recommendations, generative content and automation built into the product.

04

Local / private LLM deployment

Locally-hosted models (Ollama and similar) for AI capability without cloud dependency or data exposure.

// 05 — USER EXPERIENCE

Experience is an engineering problem

Good UX isn't a coat of paint. It's how fast the page loads, whether every screen behaves the same way, and whether the product works for someone using a screen reader on a slow connection. We engineer the experience — consistency, speed and accessibility built in, not bolted on at the end.

01

Design systems & UI engineering

Scalable component libraries that keep every surface consistent and fast to build on.

02

Performance users can feel

The optimisation work that turns a sluggish interface into a sharp one (e.g. LCP from 13s to under 4s).

03

Accessibility

WCAG AA built into the build, so the product works for everyone and passes audits.

04

Front-end quality

The standards and tooling that keep the interface clean as the team and codebase grow.

// 06 — PRODUCT

We own the outcome, not the ticket

We don't wait to be handed a backlog. We run delivery: scoping the real problem, setting the roadmap, managing milestones and risk, and keeping engineering, product and stakeholders pointed the same way. You get a partner accountable for the result — not a vendor billing hours against someone else's plan.

01

Technical programme management

Cross-functional programmes run from planning to delivery, with clear milestones and risk management.

02

Delivery governance

The reporting, cadence and decisions that keep a programme honest and on track.

03

Discovery & scoping

Turning a vague goal into a scoped, buildable plan with success criteria.

04

Architecture review & planning

Structured review of existing or proposed systems, with recommendations that balance rigour and pace.

// 07 — LEADERSHIP

Senior leadership, without the senior hire

Sometimes you need the judgement of a CTO before you can justify the salary of one. We provide the leadership layer: technology strategy, the hard build-vs-buy and hiring-sequence calls, and the quality practices that keep an engineering team healthy while it grows fast.

01

Fractional CTO

Interim or part-time executive technical leadership: strategy, roadmap ownership, and engineering's seat at the leadership table.

02

Engineering management

Hands-on support for EMs and heads of engineering: team health, delivery practices, org design.

03

Code review & quality programmes

Standards, tooling and a review culture that lifts quality without slowing teams down.

04

Technical hiring & team building

Role definition, interview design, assessment and onboarding for engineering teams.

05

Startup technical advisory

Ongoing guidance for founders: architecture calls, build-vs-buy, hiring sequencing, avoiding costly missteps.

// 09 — ABOUT

WHO IS
THINKWEB?

ThinkWeb is a web, product and AI studio led by Shayan Abdullah. We take end-to-end ownership of the programmes we work on — not just the engineering, but the architecture decisions, the delivery governance, the cross-functional alignment, and the accountability that sits above all of it.

That standard comes from the work. At Optus — one of Australia's largest telecoms, serving over 10 million customers — Shayan led a chapter of 12 engineers, owned complex platform programmes as Technical Product Owner, and worked directly with Directors on strategy, OKRs, risk and delivery confidence. At MyClusters, he co-founded and built a production healthtech platform from scratch.

ThinkWeb exists for startups and scale-ups who need a team that takes that level of accountability — not a contractor who writes code and disappears, but a partner that owns the outcome.
